ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This sandstone wall was pushed over by sheer force of water during a severe storm. The site was a large house adjoining Cooper Park, however all reconstruction tasks had to be carried out from the parkland below.
There is a pedestrian path in the work zone, however our interaction with Woollahra Council resulted in a clear instruction that the path was to remain freely accessible at all times during the reconstruction.
To achieve this we assembled a scaffold bridge to allow access for personnel and materials safely over the path, as the images show.
The wall was rebuilt to budget and on time, without any inconvenience to the property owner or the public.
